Accessibility
TERRAGRN is committed to delivering a website that is accessible and easy for everyone.
You should be able to:
Change the text size by zooming or changing your browser settings.
Read text with good colour contrast.
Navigate most of our website using just a keyboard.
Listen to most of the website using a screen reader.
Skip to the main content of pages using a keyboard.
Most links on our website have been written so that they make sense when read out of context, with a few exceptions.
All images we use on the website have alternative text which describes the image or its function. This alternative text (alt-text) is generally only visible when the browser's automatic image-loading feature is turned off.
We have followed the advice of Formafantasma, a research-based design studio investigating the ecological, historical, political and social forces shaping the discipline of design today. They advocate the need for standard fonts in website design to minimise use of energy and thereby align with TERRAGRN’s mission. In addition, this is why we have no video on the site, with only an option to click through to our corporate video, if desired.
We are continually working to make usability improvements to the website for all users. In some instances, content and functionality may be dependent on third party providers. We will endeavour to work with providers or seek alternatives where possible to meet our accessibility aims.
